Alan H. Drengler, P.E.
Senior Engineer

Mr. Drengler has over thirty-five years of experience in engineering and management in the steam power plant industry. He has been project engineer, operations and maintenance superintendent, boiler inspector, boiler repair engineer, pressure vessel design engineer and consultant for fossil-fueled heating and power plants. He has also performed condition assessment and integrity evaluations of boilers, steam turbines, pressure vessels, and related auxiliaries.

Mr. Drengler worked for seventeen years with Georgia-Pacific Nekoosa Operations as Power Engineer, and prior to that as Loss Prevention Specialist and Operations Supervisor for Factory Mutual System. Responsibilities for Factory Mutual involved auditing of manufacturing plants, development of loss prevention programs, as well as training and supervision of personnel.

While with Georgia-Pacific, he was involved with overseeing the installation of a new recovery boiler, performed feasibility studies for a cogeneration plant, and was project manager for rebuilds to a dam, to five batch digesters, as well as for the pulp mill modernization plan. He has also been involved with boiler operation efficiency studies and programs, and boiler/pressure vessel life studies.
